“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.” – Confucius

I was originally a Computer Science major at UNCW, so I also do have some JavaScript, CSS and HTML knowledge that I use in my custom web design and SEO optimizations. I have over 12 years experience designing websites on various platforms including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy sites, Etsy, Shopify, Adobe Creative Suites graphics (including experience using XD, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom and After Effects), Maya, Marketo Engage, Salesforce, Monday.com, Sprinklr, Canva, Miro, Figma and other collaborative automation tools.

We all want to be successful and I have the desire to grow and learn, so I am constantly researching, staying up-to-date with current and modern trends. I have a strong passion for digital marketing because I’ve see what it can do. Whether you have a small business or a large corporation you can always benefit from engagement insights. I have had training on how to make your website ADA compliant as well and how to adhere to all of those guidelines.

Don’t hesitate to contact me, there are a lot of ways I can take advantage of my design and marketing knowledge and experience to save you time and money, help you gain more qualified leads and leading to direct sales from your online marketing efforts. Send me an email or schedule an appointment through the contact page!

Branding & Web Design are real passions of mine and I am always looking for ways to improve customer interaction, optimize views and increase exposure and sales. Branding is always key when building a website as well, so if you need branding advice I’m happy to discuss different options.

Whether you are a business owner who has experience in branding or a newbie, I can give advice and help guide you towards your future company goals. Tell me about yourself and everything there is to know about your company. It is important that a business website serves it’s customers/clients in every way needed, helping them navigate their options with your company, pay their bill, shopping cart, favorites, etc. I love helping my clients improve on their ideas, let’s collaborate!

I have built websites for many local businesses, designed logo packages, business cards, try-folds, promotional rack cards, boat decals, magazine ads, apparel, product design, custom packaging designs, textile patterns and more. I love to travel and have experienced many different countries, languages and cultures, which also greatly inspire my designs. Below are some photos of my travels to Strasbourg Germany, Basel Switzerland, Paris France, Venice Italy, Barcelona and Cordoba Spain, Bali Indonesia and more. Even dirt from the ground can be formed into beautiful works of art and functional vessels and containers. As an artist, I strive to produce pure and functional beauty that inspires everyone who sees it. Traveling is a passion of mine because it truly opens our eyes to the world and all of it’s beauty and culture!

Education, Pottery Experience & Design Inspirations

In my ceramics courses I experimented with many different techniques of transferring images onto ceramic vessels at various stages of production. I am constantly experimenting with form as much as I can. I strive to produce interesting dynamic shapes and patterns that imitate shapes and patterns I’ve seen around the globe while increasing the functionality of my designs.

As a UNCW student I majored in Studio Art with minors in Digital Art & Spanish. I took Java courses, select business and economics courses, 3D Modeling & Animation in Maya, Graphic Design, HTML and more. I studied abroad in Chile one summer session to improve my Spanish grammar, etc.

I hope you enjoy my pottery as well as my graphic design, they make great handcrafted gifts. I love incorporating designs I’ve seen in my travels and am very detail oriented, so I truly love both of my crafts. Pottery is a unique and unpredictable medium and I love to experiment, so I make all my own glazes, etc. The unpredictable nature of clay and homemade glazes intrigues me to the point that I always feel the need to experiment further.

There are strong Japanese, Mesopotamian and Islamic pottery influences you may notice in my work. I enjoy making my own glaze recipes and experimenting with the elements that make up the earth. I wish to make people happy through art and I think pottery is such a great form of art therapy. Just seeing the smiles on my students and supporters’ faces makes it all worth it!

Looking towards the future, I plan on continuing to develop and improve in my skill while improving on key original and effective ideas. I will always seek new forms, glaze effects and improved functionality. My goals are to continue growing as an artist and a business woman while coming up with new functional and creative designs in my pottery as well as my graphic design. Thank you so much for all of your love and support everyone!
